1. About us
Twist & Fry is a sole-trader street-food business registered in the United Kingdom. These terms apply to all purchases made at our stall and all private catering bookings arranged through our website or enquiry form.
2. Orders & payment
Stall purchases are paid for at the point of sale. For private catering, a deposit may be required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due before or on the day of the event, as agreed in your booking confirmation. All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
3. Cancellations & refunds
Catering bookings may be cancelled by you up to 14 days before the event date for a full refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. extreme weather, equipment failure, illness) — in such cases you will receive a full refund.
4. Menu & allergens
Our crisps are naturally gluten-free and vegan. Our fritto misto contains fish, shellfish and is cooked in oil that may also be used for other items. While we take care to avoid cross-contamination, our kitchen handles allergens and we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from traces of allergens. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements when placing a catering enquiry so we can advise accordingly.
5. Site requirements & venue access
For private catering, you are responsible for ensuring we have adequate space, power supply and — for indoor setups — proper ventilation. We do not trade indoors without sufficient ventilation. Every venue is subject to a prior site inspection before we confirm the booking. Failure to meet agreed site requirements may result in cancellation or additional charges.
6. Liability
We carry public liability insurance for our catering operations. Our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid for the booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including images, text, logos and artwork — is owned by or licensed to Twist & Fry and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written permission.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
